RGI WALLIS DAYS
This new DVD is a re-make of an original VHS Video created to commemorate the events that took place at Shipdham Airfield in Norfolk in the early summer of 1997 to celebrate the life and work of a man synonymous with Autogyros the world over - Wing Commander Ken Wallis MBE.
Working from original material, this DVD has been created using the latest computer technology and includes new soundtracks and editing features such as improved sound and picture quality.
The brainchild of 'Rotor Gazette International' owner Rowland Parsons, Wallis Days was a new and unique event in the UK Gyro calendar and to many, was long overdue. Ken Wallis has been an inspiration to many hundreds of Gyro pilots worldwide and it was only fitting that his contribution to Gyro developement should be celebrated in this way by fellow Gyro pilots and enthusiasts alike - especially here on Ken's own doorstep and local airfield of Shipdham (yes, it is spelt correctly)
